The Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand firmly believes that today’s members are tomorrow’s future leaders. That’s why each Club offers programs to build the confidence, dignity and pride of our members. Giving members recognition when they do well and making sure that their talents are recognized – whether artistic, athletic or intellectual – is a vital part of this process.

Programs in this core area empower youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image and good character, participate in the democratic process, and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
